To anoint a ritual candle: Bless and charge your candle before anointing it with the ritual oil. There may be some remaining energies attached to it. Form your intention for the candle you wish to use, and empower it with your manifesting energy. When anointing a ritual candle, rub the oil onto the candle in an upward motion to draw and attract what you are manifesting, and downwards motion to leave or shed what no longer is serving you. Be careful not to rub the oil in a back and forth motion. You can also roll your candle in herbs after anointing it with the oil.
